Last Word On The O9A?

David Myatt

°°°°°°°°°

One important thing that many self-professed occultists – and latter-day satanists – forget or don’t know or can’t comprehend is that to understand and appreciate the Order of Nine Angles (to know what being O9A means) you really have to know about and understand and appreciate the sinister-numinous life of the pseudonymous Anton Long.

Because:

(i) as mentioned in the essay Myatt, The Septenary Anados, And The Quest For Lapis Philosophicus [pdf] he created the O9A – and devised the seven fold way – as things, presencings, “which can lead to the creation of strong, really dangerous, ruthless individuals [and] which are so subversive that no laws could ever outlaw them, and that attempts to restrain them, to outlaw them, would only make them more attractive to some individuals.”

(ii) His own strange life is sufficient of itself to illustrate what a dedicated, modern, decades-long occult quest for knowledge and wisdom is all about and involves.

(iii) He is an example of what the Seven Fold Way means and implies in real life, re:
             (a) overcoming physical challenges (running a marathon, cycling over 200 miles in 12 hours, etc);
             (b) exeatic living;
             (c) undertaking criminal ‘insight roles’;
             (d) experience of both the sinister (neo-nazi extremism, inciting murder and terrorism, running a gang of thieves, etc) and the numinous (being a monk, a nurse, writing poetry, etc); and
             (e) scholarly learning (translating and writing the most comprehensive (to date) commentary on the ancient Pymander tractate, etc).

Understood thus, the Order of Nine Angles is just:

(1) The esoteric philosophy of Anton Long. Ontology → causal/acausal. Epistemology → causal knowing + acausal knowing. Ethics → code (logos) of kindred honour.

(2) The occult praxises, based on that philosophy, codified by Anton Long; especially the Seven Fold Way with its roots in Hellenic hermeticism and influenced by Arabic and Indic esoteric sources.

(3) The pagan Rounwytha (Camlad) tradition with its emphasis on the muliebral virtues and muliebral occult skills (such as empathy).

(4) The modern unique example that the strange, sinister-numinous, documented life of the pseudonymous Anton Long affords. [A life documented under his ‘real’ name.]

(5) Those who are influenced by, or are inspired by, or seek to emulate/practice (1) – (4).

(6) Those who desire to became another unique example to others by equalling or surpassing the strange, sinister-numinous, life of the pseudonymous Anton Long.

             Little wonder then that, ignoring or ignorant of these six things, the latter-day satanists – pompously, arrogantly, or because of their prejudice – write such BS about the O9A.

Bashing Howard Levey Yet Again

Baphomet, Dark Goddess

°°°°°°°°°

Knowledge And Culture Verses Plebeian Pretentiousness
Or, Let Us Bash Howard Stanton Levey Yet Again

One of the very many things that self-described modern satanists – and followers of the likes of Crowley and Aquino – never comment upon, and have never commented on in over three decades, is the esoteric knowledge and the culture displayed by the Order of Nine Angles.

Whereas the sources of Howard Stanton Levey – evident in his ‘satanic bible’ and his letters – are populist interpretations of the likes of Nietzsche and Ayn Rand, populist books about psychology, with the polemic Might Is Right perhaps a central source {1} – the sources used by the pseudonymous Anton Long (of O9A fame) are ancient and primary and reveal a certain erudition on the part of Anton Long himself, as for instance, Professor Monette – an accomplished linguist himself – noted in Mr Long “having fluency in the classical languages (Greek and Latin), as well as Arabic and possibly Persian” {2} and thus in being able to read philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle, and important Hermetic texts such as the Corpus Hermeticum, in the original Greek, as well as being able to read the Latin of medieval European alchemical texts, and the Arabic of such early books of sorcery as Ghayat al-Hakim and Shams I-Maarif.

In the case of primary sources, when Anton Long wrote about such things as a septenary system he is referencing Greco-Roman sources such as the Pymander tractate of the Corpus Hermeticum. When he uses the term ‘Star Gate’ he was referencing the use of the term Gate by primary sources such as The Compound of Alchymie written in 1471 CE by George Ripley and included in the 1652 book Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum {3}. When he references ‘severed heads’ in relation to ancestral tradition he is drawing on sources such as Diodorus Siculus. When he uses the term Naos, he is drawing on sources such as Pausanius. When he writes about Baphomet as ‘the mother/mistress of blood’ his sources include ancient Greek texts such as De Mysteriis {4}. And so on and so on.

The neglect by Occultists and academics of these primary and ancient sources, in respect of Anton Long’s esoteric philosophy and Occult praxis, is gradually being rectified by texts such as the 2015 compilation ἀρρενόθηλυς by R. Parker and essays such as Originality, Tradition, And The Order of Nine Angles by the same author, as well as the release of new ‘Esoteric Notes’ such as ONA Esoteric Notes XLVII in which it is suggested that Renaissance Latin texts such as De Vita Coelitus Comparanda by Marsilii Ficini (published in 1489 CE) are among the sources used by Anton Long.

This understanding of the non-Qabalistic, and ancient, sources used – in their original language – by Anton Long makes Howard Stanton Levey seem, in comparison, somewhat uncultured and plebeian.

JS
2016

{1} Aquino, of Temple of Set fame, has described, at some length, in his 2009 book The Church of Satan the sources Levey used.

While Aquino may have in part been motivated by a desire to legitimize his Temple of Set, his analysis stands up to critical scrutiny. An archive version of a pre-publication draft of Aquino’s The Church of Satan is available [as of September 2016] here: https://web.archive.org/web/20090815024736/http://www.xeper.org/maquino/nm/COS.pdf

For example, the Appendix The Hidden Source Of The Satanic Philosophy describes how Levey’s Nine Satanic Statements are derived from Ayn Rand.

An Occult Phantom Menace
Part Thirty Three

We love the paranoia and the conspiracy theories floating about in cyberspace about the O9A and about Mr Myatt. Such as recent comments stating that it is “well known ONA is controlled by CIA”, that Myatt is a “secret agent” as “proved” by his membership in the 1970s and 1980s of the secret NATO Gladio paramilitary group Column 88, that the O9A is a “apocalyptic Satanic death cult”, and that Myatt was a British agent who “stoked supernatural fears during The Troubles” {1}.

If such conspiracy theories didn’t already exist we would have happily invented them. O9A as an occult phantom menace? You Betcha!

I: A Visit By Antoon Longbeard III

Quidditas Independent School For Boys and Girls
Yarchester Hall
Much Startling
Wiltshire

10.vii.16

It is with great pleasure that we send out this end of year report to you, dear parents, marking as it does our first year as Head Lady Master of the school.

Following a most generous donation by a Middle Eastern gentleman – an alumnus of the school – who wishes to remain anonymous, we are pleased to announce that the Lower Sixth desert expedition to Gilf Kebir in search of the rock of Afsana will go ahead as planned as will the refurbishment of Quants Hall including the Shooting Range where new safety measures will be introduced following that unfortunate incident last term involving a year ten boarder and a senior member of the Sapphic Club and which club, despite a petition from members of the rival Devil’s Advocate Guild, has not been closed down. The club will mark its centenary in the forthcoming Michaelmas term by staging a musical production of Miss Settles play Beautiful Girls, Towards You My Thoughts Will Never Change. In more good news, Miss Settle will be continuing with her self-defence classes following the decision by the local Constabulary not to proceed with the charge against her of assault following her intervention in a fight between her girls and some interloping male townies at the local hostelry.

Toward the end of Trinity Term our former Headmaster, Antoon Longbeard III, paid us a visit intending to give a shortened version of his annual three-hour lecture to the Upper Sixth, Soliloquy On Aeonics With Reference To Acausal Time And The Arabic Alchemy Of Al-Andalus in preparation for which we scheduled an exeat weekend resulting in attendance being limited to the few pupils who could not get away in time, plus Janitor Plunge and Head Groundsman Miss Tree. Antoon Longbeard III, always a stickler for upholding the sterling tradition of former Headmasters, was afterwards spotted asleep leaning against Big Oak, on the boundary of the First Eleven cricket pitch, clutching an empty bottle of a 12 year old single malt. Later that evening Miss Tree discovered him wandering aimlessly around the pond in Much Startling village having singed his beard and Tweed jacket after overfilling his prized briar pipe. We wish him well in his retirement.

Finally, we are sad to report that former Head Boy, Sefton Dolittle, while pursuing his childhood ambition to own the Star of Southern Rhodesia diamond, was apprehended in the vaults of a well-known London jeweller and has now begun a seven year holiday at Her Majesty’s pleasure.

We remain yours truly,
Edonia Bracquet
Head Lady Master

II: Is David Myatt Really A Satanist?

Special Report, by Miss Pointy Ears

Does David Myatt, confirmed poet and translator of ancient Greek literature, actually believe the appalling heresy that eating home-cured honey roast Ham from outdoor reared pigs is good for you? In the face of mounting evidence, can David Myatt the self confessed mystic continue to maintain that he is not in fact the swinging vegetarian we have long assumed him to be?

These questions have become all the more pressing after recent revelations linking the mysterious Anton Long virus to several outbreaks of diarrhoea and vomiting that have afflicted readers of [a certain anti-fascist] blog.

A Doctor at the world famous Institute for Mysterious Internet Diseases – who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not licensed to speak – said, “It seems that the badly photoshopped picture of Myatt on the blog is to blame. I have been warning about the medical dangers of such digital trickery for years…”

We – I, Miss PointyEars of the PointyHat, and my sound recordist, Rumpled Hairpin of The NaughtyNice – tracked down one notorious MOAC [Myatt Obsessed Anonymous Coward] blogger to his secret hideout in Barking, where – hunkered down in his underground bunker surrounded by his precious collection of Barry Manilow vinyl records – he said, waving a beer stained piece of paper,

“F’tang f’tang o-lay olay biscuit-barrel… That’s one of theirs, of his, evil chants. He, Myatt the satanist, must be exposed, stopped, before he opens the Gates of Hell and lets loose The Dark Nameless Lord upon the Earth. He is a Fiend! The worst of the worst.”

“But what proof have you for your accusations about Myatt?” we asked.

“Proof? I have all these links to my own blogs!” he shouted. “Plus, I have dozens of links to other blogs and articles where people like me take the piss out of Myatt and make accusations!”

We were about to interject when he shouted, “I have other proof! Just look at those two articles by academics. There’s your proof!”

“The Fallacy of the Appeal to Authority, surely,” I said.

“Look,” and he glowered at us closely, “you’re Myatt in disguise aren’t you?”

“Disguised as a woman? With rather gorgeous tits, if I say so myself,” and showed him.

“You don’t fool me! You’re all Myatt,” he ranted. “All Myatt. Shapeshifters, that’s what you are; aliens, lizards, from Outer Space. I’m a paid up member of the David Icke Fan Club, you know. I post on his forum.”

And off he went to his computer to tap away at the keyboard, mumbling to himself that Myatt was, must be, a sad lonely old man, and we just had to laugh because we knew the truth.

A Satanic Icon?

°°°°°°°°°

Myatt: A Satanic Icon?

The Occult Phantom Menace
Part Twenty Three

Here are some quotes from an Establishment media-supported anti-fascist who for some twenty years has hated David Myatt despite spouting rhetoric about “hope not hate”. {1}

According to this much media-hyped anti-fascist, Myatt “would regularly get involved in fights” and “learnt martial arts as a teenager” and “often acted as a bodyguard for [British Movement] party leader Colin Jordan.” {2}

Myatt “was regularly involved in violence and after one particularly nasty attack on a young Asian he was sent to prison”. {2}

Myatt “formed a small criminal gang to re-distribute wealth stolen by big capitalist firms. Their burglaries led to an investigation by the Yorkshire Regional Crime Squad and he was again convicted. His activities did attract the attention of someone in authority though as he was invited to join Column 88, a secretive nazi group that was in reality a state-funded operation designed to cause chaos and violence in the event of a Communist takeover or Russian invasion. Myatt became increasingly active in C88, attending their training camps and meetings.” {2}

Myatt undertook “travels in Iran and Iraq, in 2000, [and] began praising Osama Bin Ladin and Al Qaeda,” {2} and became “a key al-Qaeda propagandist.” {3}

Now, compare these documented, such sinister and heretical, behaviour by Myatt with the life of Howard Stanton Levey {3} and decide for yourselves who is the most sinister, the most Satanic, the most “evil”.

Was Howard Stanton Levey – aka Anton LaVey – just a charlatan, “all mouth and trousers”? {4} Or was David Myatt – aka Anton Long – a modern icon of modern Satanism, of modern icon of chaos and nihilism, and someone who not only advocated, but who really did live, an antinomian, an extremist, a terrorist, a modern satanic, a heretical, life?

O9A: More Influential Than Ever?

The Occult Phantom Menace:
Part Twenty Three

The Daily Telegraph is the latest mainstream British newspaper to print another article mentioning the Order of Nine Angles.

Citing a 2019 report by the anti-fascist organization calling itself Hope Not Hate, the newspaper article states that “some of the most extreme [Nazi] groups in Britain today are influenced by the Order of Nine Angles (O9A), unquestionably the world’s most extreme Nazi Satanist group.” {1}

In addition, O9A philosophy is “shaping the recently formed Sonnenkrieg Division, possibly the most extreme nazi group we have seen in decades. The O9A group, which has been running since the 1960s and holds occult rituals led by a Priest and Priestess, advocates destroying society from within and culling people.”

The article goes on to quote Nick Lowles of Hope Not Hate:

                  “The O9A is arguably becoming more visible and influential than ever.”

For ourselves, we do not deny the connection between O9A Occult philosophy and National Socialism. As we wrote in a recent posting:

                  “We are just one of many nexions who interpret O9A esoteric philosophy as anti-Magian in essence and National Socialist in exoteric practice and as required by the O9A’s Sinister Dialectic.” {2}

Which is one reason why, in the past, we have posted items such as The Two Interpretations Of National Socialism {3} and why in the Links section of our blog we include Reichsfolk Times {4}.

The O9A And Gladio

The Occult Phantom Menace:
Part Nineteen

In February 2019, a conspiracy-theorist – writing on a German-language internet media outlet – made mention of the Order of Nine Angles and David Myatt in connection with the NATO anti-communist paramilitary Gladio “stay-behind” network.

Apparently, the Gladio network was “the best-kept, and most damaging, political-military secret since World War II” {1}.

Referencing a 2014 article in the Guardian newspaper titled Satanic panic: how British agents stoked supernatural fears in Troubles {2} the conspiracy-theorist alleged that Myatt was behind that particular “satanic panic” with the innuendo being that Myatt was working for British military intelligence and part of that psychological warfare operation (Psy Ops), which ran from 1972 to 1974, with it rumoured that Myatt founded the O9A in the same year as that PsyOp began.

quote1

While Myatt’s involvement with Column 88 in the 1970s and 1980s is documented in his autobiography Myngath, by academics {3}{4}{5} and in other articles {6} the conspiracy-theorist goes on to suggest a connection between Myatt and Michael Aquino of the Temple of Set.

quote2

This is all good conspiracy theory stuff. Aiding both the O9A and the Myatt mythoi. As do other stories about The Occult Phantom Menace known as the O9A. As did the Quietus article late last year with its description of Myatt as “a former mercenary and bodyguard to fascist British Movement leader Colin Jordan” who has the “lifelong aim of destroying Judeo-Christian culture,” and with the O9A being described as having around 2,000 adherents worldwide.

Can there be such a thing as a bad press, a conspiracy theory too bizarre, an innuendo too far, for an Occult movement espousing “a dangerous and extreme form of Satanism” {7} which has maintained for over forty years that human sacrifice is part of Satanism and which promotes infiltration of and involvement with extremist political and religious groups? No.

Have forty years of criticism of and forty years of anti-O9A propaganda by self-described “satanists” and mundanes adversely affected the O9A? No.

Has the association of the O9A with neo-nazism adversely affected the O9A? No.

For we are just one of many nexions who interpret O9A esoteric philosophy as anti-Magian in essence and National Socialist in exoteric practice and as required by the O9A’s Sinister Dialectic.

{quote}

The papers right now are all covering the arrest of “three men aged from 17 to 21 including a university professor’s son, on terror charges […]

Their main ‘crime’ appears to be circulating violent images created by the Sonnenkrieg Division, a British version of a US neo-Nazi group called the Atomwaffen Division […]

It’s important to understand that the little clique of self-styled ideologues behind both groups are not primarily political in any way. They are, quite simply, avowed Satanists […]

This is not some wild theory or slur; it is simply established fact. The Order of Nine Angles is an all too real Satanist organisation, which encourages members to infiltrate extremist political movements, whose members might be susceptible to conversion. Among its key figures are several heavily involved in the UK neo-Nazi group National Action (NA) […]

Which post is obviously written by someone who is so plebeian and/or so eager to publish their feverish meanderings that they do not know nor care about their typos.

So perhaps some of us should “consider joining” – aka infiltrate – the “temple” mentioned by the author and thus work with “the commission of the Saints”. What larks, what sinister fun, awaits such O9A (aka MI6) infiltrators!

Happy Infiltrating.

°°°°°°°°°

Both O.N.A and the T.O.B exhibit tell-tale and extremely dangerous marks of intelligence agency handlings. David Myatt, (under the name Anton Long) an agent for MI-6, British intelligence, created O.N.A in the, somewhat successful, attempt to merge Satanism with Neo-Nazism, in order that he could recruit violent moronic patsies to commit acts of terror which would benefit political agendas, but by [sic erat scriptum] blamed on “devil worshiping [sic erat scriptum] skinheads” who are painted as the political opposition […]

I would not call the average Reddit or YouTube searching occultist educated, intuitive or overly aware. E.A Koetting and to some degree Michael W. Ford, could easily publicly, outwardly, denounce T.O.B but still inwardly support and pursue T.O.B’s plainly stated agenda of infiltration […]
