Last Word On The O9A?

David Myatt

°°°°°°°°°

One important thing that many self-professed occultists – and latter-day satanists – forget or don’t know or can’t comprehend is that to understand and appreciate the Order of Nine Angles (to know what being O9A means) you really have to know about and understand and appreciate the sinister-numinous life of the pseudonymous Anton Long.

Because:

(i) as mentioned in the essay Myatt, The Septenary Anados, And The Quest For Lapis Philosophicus [pdf] he created the O9A – and devised the seven fold way – as things, presencings, “which can lead to the creation of strong, really dangerous, ruthless individuals [and] which are so subversive that no laws could ever outlaw them, and that attempts to restrain them, to outlaw them, would only make them more attractive to some individuals.”

(ii) His own strange life is sufficient of itself to illustrate what a dedicated, modern, decades-long occult quest for knowledge and wisdom is all about and involves.

(iii) He is an example of what the Seven Fold Way means and implies in real life, re:
             (a) overcoming physical challenges (running a marathon, cycling over 200 miles in 12 hours, etc);
             (b) exeatic living;
             (c) undertaking criminal ‘insight roles’;
             (d) experience of both the sinister (neo-nazi extremism, inciting murder and terrorism, running a gang of thieves, etc) and the numinous (being a monk, a nurse, writing poetry, etc); and
             (e) scholarly learning (translating and writing the most comprehensive (to date) commentary on the ancient Pymander tractate, etc).

Understood thus, the Order of Nine Angles is just:

(1) The esoteric philosophy of Anton Long. Ontology → causal/acausal. Epistemology → causal knowing + acausal knowing. Ethics → code (logos) of kindred honour.

(2) The occult praxises, based on that philosophy, codified by Anton Long; especially the Seven Fold Way with its roots in Hellenic hermeticism and influenced by Arabic and Indic esoteric sources.

(3) The pagan Rounwytha (Camlad) tradition with its emphasis on the muliebral virtues and muliebral occult skills (such as empathy).

(4) The modern unique example that the strange, sinister-numinous, documented life of the pseudonymous Anton Long affords. [A life documented under his ‘real’ name.]

(5) Those who are influenced by, or are inspired by, or seek to emulate/practice (1) – (4).

(6) Those who desire to became another unique example to others by equalling or surpassing the strange, sinister-numinous, life of the pseudonymous Anton Long.

             Little wonder then that, ignoring or ignorant of these six things, the latter-day satanists – pompously, arrogantly, or because of their prejudice – write such BS about the O9A.

Bashing Howard Levey Yet Again

Baphomet, Dark Goddess

°°°°°°°°°

Knowledge And Culture Verses Plebeian Pretentiousness
Or, Let Us Bash Howard Stanton Levey Yet Again

One of the very many things that self-described modern satanists – and followers of the likes of Crowley and Aquino – never comment upon, and have never commented on in over three decades, is the esoteric knowledge and the culture displayed by the Order of Nine Angles.

Whereas the sources of Howard Stanton Levey – evident in his ‘satanic bible’ and his letters – are populist interpretations of the likes of Nietzsche and Ayn Rand, populist books about psychology, with the polemic Might Is Right perhaps a central source {1} – the sources used by the pseudonymous Anton Long (of O9A fame) are ancient and primary and reveal a certain erudition on the part of Anton Long himself, as for instance, Professor Monette – an accomplished linguist himself – noted in Mr Long “having fluency in the classical languages (Greek and Latin), as well as Arabic and possibly Persian” {2} and thus in being able to read philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle, and important Hermetic texts such as the Corpus Hermeticum, in the original Greek, as well as being able to read the Latin of medieval European alchemical texts, and the Arabic of such early books of sorcery as Ghayat al-Hakim and Shams I-Maarif.

In the case of primary sources, when Anton Long wrote about such things as a septenary system he is referencing Greco-Roman sources such as the Pymander tractate of the Corpus Hermeticum. When he uses the term ‘Star Gate’ he was referencing the use of the term Gate by primary sources such as The Compound of Alchymie written in 1471 CE by George Ripley and included in the 1652 book Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum {3}. When he references ‘severed heads’ in relation to ancestral tradition he is drawing on sources such as Diodorus Siculus. When he uses the term Naos, he is drawing on sources such as Pausanius. When he writes about Baphomet as ‘the mother/mistress of blood’ his sources include ancient Greek texts such as De Mysteriis {4}. And so on and so on.

The neglect by Occultists and academics of these primary and ancient sources, in respect of Anton Long’s esoteric philosophy and Occult praxis, is gradually being rectified by texts such as the 2015 compilation ἀρρενόθηλυς by R. Parker and essays such as Originality, Tradition, And The Order of Nine Angles by the same author, as well as the release of new ‘Esoteric Notes’ such as ONA Esoteric Notes XLVII in which it is suggested that Renaissance Latin texts such as De Vita Coelitus Comparanda by Marsilii Ficini (published in 1489 CE) are among the sources used by Anton Long.

This understanding of the non-Qabalistic, and ancient, sources used – in their original language – by Anton Long makes Howard Stanton Levey seem, in comparison, somewhat uncultured and plebeian.

JS

{1} Aquino, of Temple of Set fame, has described, at some length, in his 2009 book The Church of Satan the sources Levey used.

While Aquino may have in part been motivated by a desire to legitimize his Temple of Set, his analysis stands up to critical scrutiny. An archive version of a pre-publication draft of Aquino’s The Church of Satan is available [as of September 2016] here: https://web.archive.org/web/20090815024736/http://www.xeper.org/maquino/nm/COS.pdf

For example, the Appendix The Hidden Source Of The Satanic Philosophy describes how Levey’s Nine Satanic Statements are derived from Ayn Rand.

An Occult Phantom Menace
Part Thirty Three

We love the paranoia and the conspiracy theories floating about in cyberspace about the O9A and about Mr Myatt. Such as recent comments stating that it is “well known ONA is controlled by CIA”, that Myatt is a “secret agent” as “proved” by his membership in the 1970s and 1980s of the secret NATO Gladio paramilitary group Column 88, that the O9A is a “apocalyptic Satanic death cult”, and that Myatt was a British agent who “stoked supernatural fears during The Troubles” {1}.

If such conspiracy theories didn’t already exist we would have happily invented them. O9A as an occult phantom menace? You Betcha!

Humour: An Old Folk Remedy

°°°°°°°°°

David Myatt

I: A Visit By Antoon Longbeard III

Quidditas Independent School For Boys and Girls
Yarchester Hall
Much Startling
Wiltshire

10.vii.16

It is with great pleasure that we send out this end of year report to you, dear parents, marking as it does our first year as Head Lady Master of the school.

Following a most generous donation by a Middle Eastern gentleman – an alumnus of the school – who wishes to remain anonymous, we are pleased to announce that the Lower Sixth desert expedition to Gilf Kebir in search of the rock of Afsana will go ahead as planned as will the refurbishment of Quants Hall including the Shooting Range where new safety measures will be introduced following that unfortunate incident last term involving a year ten boarder and a senior member of the Sapphic Club and which club, despite a petition from members of the rival Devil’s Advocate Guild, has not been closed down. The club will mark its centenary in the forthcoming Michaelmas term by staging a musical production of Miss Settles play Beautiful Girls, Towards You My Thoughts Will Never Change. In more good news, Miss Settle will be continuing with her self-defence classes following the decision by the local Constabulary not to proceed with the charge against her of assault following her intervention in a fight between her girls and some interloping male townies at the local hostelry.

Toward the end of Trinity Term our former Headmaster, Antoon Longbeard III, paid us a visit intending to give a shortened version of his annual three-hour lecture to the Upper Sixth, Soliloquy On Aeonics With Reference To Acausal Time And The Arabic Alchemy Of Al-Andalus in preparation for which we scheduled an exeat weekend resulting in attendance being limited to the few pupils who could not get away in time, plus Janitor Plunge and Head Groundsman Miss Tree. Antoon Longbeard III, always a stickler for upholding the sterling tradition of former Headmasters, was afterwards spotted asleep leaning against Big Oak, on the boundary of the First Eleven cricket pitch, clutching an empty bottle of a 12 year old single malt. Later that evening Miss Tree discovered him wandering aimlessly around the pond in Much Startling village having singed his beard and Tweed jacket after overfilling his prized briar pipe. We wish him well in his retirement.

Finally, we are sad to report that former Head Boy, Sefton Dolittle, while pursuing his childhood ambition to own the Star of Southern Rhodesia diamond, was apprehended in the vaults of a well-known London jeweller and has now begun a seven year holiday at Her Majesty’s pleasure.

We remain yours truly,
Edonia Bracquet
Head Lady Master

II: Is David Myatt Really A Satanist?

Special Report, by Miss Pointy Ears

Does David Myatt, confirmed poet and translator of ancient Greek literature, actually believe the appalling heresy that eating home-cured honey roast Ham from outdoor reared pigs is good for you? In the face of mounting evidence, can David Myatt the self confessed mystic continue to maintain that he is not in fact the swinging vegetarian we have long assumed him to be?

These questions have become all the more pressing after recent revelations linking the mysterious Anton Long virus to several outbreaks of diarrhoea and vomiting that have afflicted readers of [a certain anti-fascist] blog.

A Doctor at the world famous Institute for Mysterious Internet Diseases – who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not licensed to speak – said, “It seems that the badly photoshopped picture of Myatt on the blog is to blame. I have been warning about the medical dangers of such digital trickery for years…”

We – I, Miss PointyEars of the PointyHat, and my sound recordist, Rumpled Hairpin of The NaughtyNice – tracked down one notorious MOAC [Myatt Obsessed Anonymous Coward] blogger to his secret hideout in Barking, where – hunkered down in his underground bunker surrounded by his precious collection of Barry Manilow vinyl records – he said, waving a beer stained piece of paper,

“F’tang f’tang o-lay olay biscuit-barrel… That’s one of theirs, of his, evil chants. He, Myatt the satanist, must be exposed, stopped, before he opens the Gates of Hell and lets loose The Dark Nameless Lord upon the Earth. He is a Fiend! The worst of the worst.”

“But what proof have you for your accusations about Myatt?” we asked.

“Proof? I have all these links to my own blogs!” he shouted. “Plus, I have dozens of links to other blogs and articles where people like me take the piss out of Myatt and make accusations!”

We were about to interject when he shouted, “I have other proof! Just look at those two articles by academics. There’s your proof!”

“The Fallacy of the Appeal to Authority, surely,” I said.

“Look,” and he glowered at us closely, “you’re Myatt in disguise aren’t you?”

“Disguised as a woman? With rather gorgeous tits, if I say so myself,” and showed him.

“You don’t fool me! You’re all Myatt,” he ranted. “All Myatt. Shapeshifters, that’s what you are; aliens, lizards, from Outer Space. I’m a paid up member of the David Icke Fan Club, you know. I post on his forum.”

And off he went to his computer to tap away at the keyboard, mumbling to himself that Myatt was, must be, a sad lonely old man, and we just had to laugh because we knew the truth.

Myatt: A Satanic Icon?

The Occult Phantom Menace
Part Twenty Three

Here are some quotes from an Establishment media-supported anti-fascist who for some twenty years has hated David Myatt despite spouting rhetoric about “hope not hate”. {1}

According to this much media-hyped anti-fascist, Myatt “would regularly get involved in fights” and “learnt martial arts as a teenager” and “often acted as a bodyguard for [British Movement] party leader Colin Jordan.” {2}

Myatt “was regularly involved in violence and after one particularly nasty attack on a young Asian he was sent to prison”. {2}

Myatt “formed a small criminal gang to re-distribute wealth stolen by big capitalist firms. Their burglaries led to an investigation by the Yorkshire Regional Crime Squad and he was again convicted. His activities did attract the attention of someone in authority though as he was invited to join Column 88, a secretive nazi group that was in reality a state-funded operation designed to cause chaos and violence in the event of a Communist takeover or Russian invasion. Myatt became increasingly active in C88, attending their training camps and meetings.” {2}

Myatt undertook “travels in Iran and Iraq, in 2000, [and] began praising Osama Bin Ladin and Al Qaeda,” {2} and became “a key al-Qaeda propagandist.” {3}

Now, compare these documented, such sinister and heretical, behaviour by Myatt with the life of Howard Stanton Levey {3} and decide for yourselves who is the most sinister, the most Satanic, the most “evil”.

Was Howard Stanton Levey – aka Anton LaVey – just a charlatan, “all mouth and trousers”? {4} Or was David Myatt – aka Anton Long – a modern icon of modern Satanism, of modern icon of chaos and nihilism, and someone who not only advocated, but who really did live, an antinomian, an extremist, a terrorist, a modern satanic, a heretical, life?

O9A: More Influential Than Ever?

The Occult Phantom Menace:
Part Twenty Three

The Daily Telegraph is the latest mainstream British newspaper to print another article mentioning the Order of Nine Angles.

Citing a 2019 report by the anti-fascist organization calling itself Hope Not Hate, the newspaper article states that “some of the most extreme [Nazi] groups in Britain today are influenced by the Order of Nine Angles (O9A), unquestionably the world’s most extreme Nazi Satanist group.” {1}

In addition, O9A philosophy is “shaping the recently formed Sonnenkrieg Division, possibly the most extreme nazi group we have seen in decades. The O9A group, which has been running since the 1960s and holds occult rituals led by a Priest and Priestess, advocates destroying society from within and culling people.”

The article goes on to quote Nick Lowles of Hope Not Hate:

                  “The O9A is arguably becoming more visible and influential than ever.”

For ourselves, we do not deny the connection between O9A Occult philosophy and National Socialism. As we wrote in a recent posting:

                  “We are just one of many nexions who interpret O9A esoteric philosophy as anti-Magian in essence and National Socialist in exoteric practice and as required by the O9A’s Sinister Dialectic.” {2}

Which is one reason why, in the past, we have posted items such as The Two Interpretations Of National Socialism {3} and why in the Links section of our blog we include Reichsfolk Times {4}.

The O9A And Gladio

The Occult Phantom Menace:
Part Nineteen

In February 2019, a conspiracy-theorist – writing on a German-language internet media outlet – made mention of the Order of Nine Angles and David Myatt in connection with the NATO anti-communist paramilitary Gladio “stay-behind” network.

Apparently, the Gladio network was “the best-kept, and most damaging, political-military secret since World War II” {1}.

Referencing a 2014 article in the Guardian newspaper titled Satanic panic: how British agents stoked supernatural fears in Troubles {2} the conspiracy-theorist alleged that Myatt was behind that particular “satanic panic” with the innuendo being that Myatt was working for British military intelligence and part of that psychological warfare operation (Psy Ops), which ran from 1972 to 1974, with it rumoured that Myatt founded the O9A in the same year as that PsyOp began.

quote1

While Myatt’s involvement with Column 88 in the 1970s and 1980s is documented in his autobiography Myngath, by academics {3}{4}{5} and in other articles {6} the conspiracy-theorist goes on to suggest a connection between Myatt and Michael Aquino of the Temple of Set.

quote2

This is all good conspiracy theory stuff. Aiding both the O9A and the Myatt mythoi. As do other stories about The Occult Phantom Menace known as the O9A. As did the Quietus article late last year with its description of Myatt as “a former mercenary and bodyguard to fascist British Movement leader Colin Jordan” who has the “lifelong aim of destroying Judeo-Christian culture,” and with the O9A being described as having around 2,000 adherents worldwide.

Can there be such a thing as a bad press, a conspiracy theory too bizarre, an innuendo too far, for an Occult movement espousing “a dangerous and extreme form of Satanism” {7} which has maintained for over forty years that human sacrifice is part of Satanism and which promotes infiltration of and involvement with extremist political and religious groups? No.

Have forty years of criticism of and forty years of anti-O9A propaganda by self-described “satanists” and mundanes adversely affected the O9A? No.

Has the association of the O9A with neo-nazism adversely affected the O9A? No.

For we are just one of many nexions who interpret O9A esoteric philosophy as anti-Magian in essence and National Socialist in exoteric practice and as required by the O9A’s Sinister Dialectic.

A Propaganda Triumph

Order Of Nine Angles
O9A

°°°°°°°°°

A Propaganda Triumph

We have to admit that we – our pro-NS nexion {1} – and several other O9A nexions and individuals were most pleased by the much read article titled Beyond The Iron Gates: How Nazi-Satanists Infiltrated the UK Underground which was recently published on a well-known and popular internet based music magazine.

For the article enhanced not only the “evil”, the sinister, the neo-nazi, reputation of The Order Of Nine Angles, but also the reputation of David Myatt/Anton Long who was described as “a former mercenary and bodyguard to fascist British Movement leader Colin Jordan” and as having a “lifelong aim of destroying Judeo-Christian culture.”

In addition, the article credited the O9A with having around 2,000 adherents worldwide and speculated about “how many unsolved hate crimes in Europe and the US are O9A style opfers.”

That said, about hype and propaganda, the typos in the article and the spurious “sic” comment – regarding the use of the apostrophe followed by “s” as, for example, in 1970’s, rather than 1970s – as well as the committal by the anonymous author of fallacies such as a dicto secundum quid ad dictum simpliciter and that Incomplete Evidence, reveals the tabloid nature, the coarseness, the mundane, nature, of the article.

For, in respect of their “sic” comment, an apostrophe followed by “s” was an accepted dating convention for decades before some “committees” decided to abandon the former in favour of the latter. As someone mentioned in a comment on the controversy,
                   “when I went to school we were all taught to write 1960’s, etc. The change to omitting the apostrophe is a quite recent one.”

Furthermore, as the O9A wrote in their O9A Esoteric Notes LXXVI,
                  “Standardization of spelling in the English language is a relatively recent convention. For centuries after manuscripts such as Beowulf were written in Old English and for centuries after books were first printed in the English language copyists and authors continued to use different spelling of certain words.
                   For instance from the 16th century (ev) until at least the 19th century (ev) the word now conventionally spelt Alchemy might be spelt Alchymie, alchymye, alkamye, alkemye, alkamy, and alkemie, among other variants, including a variant used in the 18th century in the US State of Virginia: achemy, qv. B. W. Green, Word-book of Virginia Folk-Speech published in 1899.”

That the anonymous author of the How Nazi-Satanists Infiltrated the UK Underground article was possibly unaware of such minutiae is further evidence both of his/her lack of research into the O9A and of the tabloid nature, the coarseness, the mundane nature, of their article. Or – dare we say – was intentional, and thus evidence of its positive (for us) propaganda value and therefore evidence of the “sinister” intent of the anonymous author who was writing for a particular (a mundane) audience.

That so many mundanes have accepted the contents of that article as the gospel truth about the O9A we find most amusing and most indicative.

Indicative, in that their acceptance of such propaganda enhances the “evil”, the sinister, the neo-nazi, reputation, of both The Order Of Nine Angles and of David Myatt.

Amusing, because we are most pleased and have to admit that we imagined that the article might well have been commissioned by, or written by, “one of us”.

The Two Interpretations Of National Socialism

odal3

The Two Interpretations Of National Socialism
Ours And Theirs

Since we – identifying as O9A and as an independent O9A nexion applying the esoteric philosophy of the Order of Nine Angles including its code of kindred honour – have previously stated that we interpret that philosophy as anti-Magian in essence and as National-Socialist in exoteric practice and as required by the O9A’s Sinister Dialectic, it is necessary for us to describe in detail what we mean by National-Socialism, since our understanding of National-Socialism is very different from that of the majority of self-described “neo-nazis”.

Just as there are two latter-day interpretations of Satanism – the ‘modern American’ type manufactured and propagated by Howard Stanton Levey (better known under his aliases of Anton LaVey and Anton Szandor LaVey) and the ‘traditional Satanism’ as manifest in the Occult philosophy and the praxis of the Order of Nine Angles {1} – so there are two latter-day interpretations of National Socialism.

These two interpretations of National Socialism are, as described in the following article, (i) that of the majority of self-described “neo-nazis”, and (ii) that of the Reichsfolk group.

The National-Socialism that we interpret as embodying the anti-Magian essence of the O9A and the exoteric practice of the O9A’s Sinister Dialectic is the non-racist Reichsfolk version.

Reichsfolk:
A New Interpretation Of National Socialism

What is not widely known in the modern Western world is that there are two very different interpretations of National Socialism. “Ours” – that of groups such as Reichsfolk and of those who know and who appreciate the writings and deeds of people such as Waffen-SS General Leon Degrelle {1} – and that of the majority of latter-day self-described “neo-nazis”.

Latter-Day Neo-Nazism And The National-Socialism Of Reichsfolk

The first and most well-known latter-day interpretation of National Socialism is that of the majority of self-described “neo-nazis”, and which interpretation is accepted by most anti-fascists who actively oppose such modern “neo-nazis”.

This is the National Socialism with a belief in a strong, powerful, nation-State, and with an overt racist ideology. A National Socialism with a dislike – often hatred – of non-White immigrants and non-White neighbours; with a belief in the instinct of “might is right” and the necessity of kampf; with a dislike – even a hatred – of those whose love is for someone of the same gender; a National Socialism with a misogyny based on the masculous instinct that it is the natural duty of most women to be wives and home-makers; and a National Socialism with a dislike – even a hatred – of Islam and Muslims.

The second, and not very well-known, interpretation of National Socialism is that of the “revisionist”, non-racist, National-Socialism developed by David Myatt in the 1990s and manifest in the Reichsfolk group {2} inspired as this version was by Myatt’s meetings with Waffen-SS General Leon Degrelle and by his correspondence with Jost Turner whose vision was of a new Aryan folk-community in America and of other “NS kindred” communities around the world.

In this Myattian interpretation of National-Socialism {3} it is regarded as both (i) “an ethnic philosophy which affirms that the different races, the different peoples, which exist are expressions of our human condition, and that these differences, this human diversity, should be treasured in the same way we treasure the diversity of Nature. National-Socialists believe our world would be poorer were these human differences to be destroyed through abstract ideas,” and as (ii) “a pure expression of our own unique Aryan ethics, based as these ethics are upon the idealism of duty to the folk, duty to Nature, and upon the nobility of personal honour.” {4}

It is also the National-Socialism which rejects the notion of a strong, powerful, modern nation-State in favour of new ethnic folk-communities and which National-Socialism is not politically active “on the streets” but instead is “a social, educational, cultural, and spiritual, movement based upon and dedicated to disseminating the noble principles of ethical, non-racist, National-Socialism which are honour, reason, fairness, loyalty, duty to one’s own folk and to Nature, and respect for and understanding of other cultures and other ways of life.” {2}

In simple terms, the Myattian interpretation of National-Socialism is based on both honour and race, whereas the neo-nazism of most modern nazis and of modern neo-nazi political groups is based on the glorification of race and the glorification of “racial struggle” at the expense of personal honour; a difference Myatt emphasised is his essay A Brief Criticism of William Pierce, written in 114yf,
                  “The main weakness of the theorizing of Pierce is that he has failed to see that it is a combination of race and honour which defines National-Socialism, and which should define the racialist movement in general. Without the evolutionary, moral, concept of honour, there is only the inhuman ethics of the past, and in practice this leads to the creation of people who are ignoble and societies which are anti-evolutionary. Thus, Pierce is firmly stuck in the past: an ignoble past of unreason and dishonour.
                  This lack of an ethical dimension to his thinking leads to him supporting the old concept of racial struggle and the inhuman consequence of considering that some races are superior to others.” {5}

Myatt expanded upon this in his seminal text Esoteric Hitlerism: Idealism, the Third Reich and the Essence of National-Socialism,
                  “An affirmation of race without an affirmation honour is not National-Socialism, just as an affirmation of honour without an affirmation of race is not National-Socialism. It is this living, organic, dialectic of honour and race which defines National-Socialism itself, and a National-Socialist is an individual who strives to do their honourable duty to both their own race and Nature herself, of which other human races are a part.
                  That is, a National-Socialist must always be honourable, whatever the consequences, or the perceived consequences. Quite often, this means a National-Socialist is faced with what seems to be difficult choices and difficult decisions, although in reality if National-Socialism itself is properly understood, there is no conflict, no moral dilemma and no difficulty in doing the right, the honourable, thing.                   Thus if something, some act or deed, seems to affirm race – or be beneficial to one’s race – but is dishonourable, then that something is not something a National-Socialist should do. What honour does is define our duty to our race and other races – it prevents us from committing hubris.” {5}

In addition, in Myatt’s revisionist version of National-Socialism there is no misogyny, for the NS Code of Honour applies equally to both men and women,
                  “A man or woman of honour treats others courteously, regardless of their culture, religion, status, and race, and is only disdainful and contemptuous of those who, by their attitude, actions and behaviour, treat they themselves with disrespect or try to personally harm them, or who treat with disrespect or try to harm those whom the individual man or woman of honour have personally sworn loyalty to or whom they champion.” {6}

Our National-Socialism

The National-Socialism of Reichsfolk is Myatt’s revisionist, non-racist, ethical, version of National-Socialism.

This is the National-Socialism where
                   “a true National-Socialist knows or feels that some things are honourable, and other things are dishonourable. It is dishonourable, for instance – cowardly and unfair and uncivilized – for several people to attack and try to injure or kill a single individual.
                  Thus, if several Caucasians attack one Negro, they are acting dishonourably – they are being uncivilized and cowardly. A true National-Socialist would never do such a thing. They would always want to see, or take part in, a “fair fight”.
                  I myself – a life-long National-Socialist – would go to the aid of a Negro if I saw him being attacked by several Caucasians, for that would be the just, the fair, the honourable, the civilized and the National-Socialist thing to do. That so many people today who adhere to ‘political National Socialist’ organizations do not agree with this just shows how far these so-called ‘National Socialists’ are from genuine National-Socialism. Which, incidently, is why I always write ‘National-Socialism’ rather than National Socialism.”

This is also the National-Socialism where there is respect for the Muslim way of life and Muslim culture, with honourable co-operation between National-Socialists and Muslims regarded as desirable {8}.

That this revisionist, non-racist, ethical, version of National-Socialism is not appreciated – and certainly not understood – in the societies of the modern West is regarded by our kind as just one more indication of just how successful the Magian, the hubriati, and the neo-nazi hordes of Homo Hubris, have been in propagating the Magian latter-day (mis)interpretation of National Socialism as something “racist”, homophobic, misogynist, anti-Muslim, and uncivilized.

The O9A: A Multi-Headed Mythical Beast

°°°°°°°

Appreciating The Apolitical Deofel Quartet

Order Of Nine Angles
O9A

°°°°°°°°°

Those who have studied O9A esotericism in detail, and those who have an intuitive or artistic appreciation of the Sinister-Numinous aesthetic of the Order of Nine Angles (ONA, O9A), know that the O9A in essence is apolitical, regarding all political forms and all political ideologies as causal abstractions, some of which forms may be useful for a while as exeatic learning experiences – as Insight Rôles – for some individuals in the early years of their decades-long journey along the O9A Seven Fold Way. But all of which causal abstractions – from politics, to religions, to sociological and psychological theories and posited archetypes – are surpassed, left behind, understood as irrelevant – when the individual undertakes and successfully emerges from the ordeal of The Abyss.

Which ordeal reveals The Unity, the affective acausality, beyond the illusive, the mundane, dialectic of opposing opposites; an illusive dialectic exemplified by “choosing sides” such as, in terms of political abstractions, “Left Wing” and “Right Wing”.

Those conversant with O9A esotericism will know that the novels of the O9A Deofel Quartet (written in the 1970s and the 1980s) present

{quote}
                  “much of the diverse aural traditions as AL [Anton Long] received them: as stories about people, their interactions; their ‘satanic’ or esoteric views and beliefs; and about certain events that involved those people. In The Deofel Quartet he simply reworked the factual material – as writers of fiction are wont to do – in order to make an interesting story, in the process obscuring the identities of those involved and sometimes their place of residence or work; added some entertaining details (as in the ‘astral battles’ between goodies and baddies in Falcifer, of a kind now familiar – decades later – from the Harry Potter stories) and concatenated certain events in order to provide ‘action’ in a limited time-frame.
                  Thus, the fictional stories not only compliment other O9A material but provide a ‘different way into’ the complex O9A mythos; a way that many will find more interesting (and certainly more entertaining) than thousands of pages of sometimes polemical and sometimes ponderous O9A factual texts, and a way that especially places the O9A’s satanism into perspective, Aeonically and otherwise.”
{/quote}

None of the novels of the Quartet concern politics. None of them deal with political revolution or concern themselves with “terrorism”. None of them concern “neo-nazism”. None of them involve “racism” or are “anti-gay” or misogynistic. In truth, the novels – ahead of their time – contain strong female characters (such as Fiona in The Greyling Owl, and Lianna in The Giving) as well as positive gay characters (such as Fenton in The Greyling Owl).

To understand the O9A is to understand how and why The Deofel Quartet presences O9A esotericism: as involving real individuals some of whom (as in Falcifer) may have an interest in Satanism and the Occult, and some of whom (as in The Greyling Owl) are not interested in, or appear not to be interested in, Satanism and the Occult. As readers of such works as Falcifer and The Giving and The Temple of Satan discover, esoterically the O9A is far beyond even the causal abstraction, the causal form, termed “Satanism”.

Thus, as described in The Temple Of Satan,

{quote}
                  “All of [the books], and the manuscripts bound like books, were about alchemy, magick or the Occult. He could read the Latin of the medieval manuscripts and books, but what they related did not interest him as the later books brought forth no desire to read further.
                  Even the Black Book of Satan, resting on the table, seemed irrelevant to him. They were all compilations of shadow words, appearing to Thurstan to fall short of the aim that the searchers who had written them should have aimed for. His instinctive feeling was to observe in a contemplative way some facet of the cosmos – to stand outside in the dark of the night and listen for the faint music that travelled down to Earth from the stars – rather the enclose himself in the warm womb of a house to read the writings of others. Demons, spells, hidden powers, the changing of base metal to gold, even the promises of power and change for himself, were not important to Thurstan, and he left the library with its stored knowledge and forbidden secrets and lurking gods, to walk in the moonlit garden.
                  The stars were not singing for him – or he could not hear them above the turmoil of his thought…
                  He moved, like an old man pained by his limbs, through the cold and sometimes swirling mist along a path that took him toward the Mynd and up, steeply, to its level summit where he stood, high above the mist, to watch the mist-clotted valleys below.
                  The heather was beginning to show the glory of its colour, and he walked through it northbound along the cracked and stony road stopping often to turn around and wait. But no one and nothing came to him – no voices, song or sigh […]
                  The very Earth itself seemed to be whispering to him the words of this truth. He began to sense, slowly, that there was for him real magick here where moorland fell to form deep hollows home to those daughters of Earth known as springs and streams, and where the Neolithic pathway had heard perhaps ten million stories. No wisps of clouds came to spoil the glory of the sun as it rose over the mottled wavy hills beyond the Stretton valley miles distant and below. No noise to break the almost sacred silence heard. For an instant it seemed as if some divinity, strange but pure, came into the world, and smiled.”
{/quote}

Thus, The Greyling Owl deals

{quote}
                  “with a type of ‘hidden sinister sorcery’ that owes little or nothing to what has become accepted as ‘the Western occult tradition’, satanic or otherwise, with its demons, its invocations and evocations, its rituals, and people dressing up in robes. Instead, it concerns someone being manipulated, brought into a position of influence, without even knowing or suspecting there is an occult aspect; someone – in modern parlance – being ‘groomed’ to at some future time use that influence for a sinister purpose as directed by the person or persons to whom he is now indebted.
                  That is, there is a revealing of how the O9A often operates, and has operated, in the real world; and how O9A people are often secretive, with their occult connections, and their interest in the sinister, unknown to colleagues and friends. The title itself gives a clue, for the word greyling is used in reference to Hipparchia Semele (commonly referred to as the Grayling), a type of butterfly found in Britain and one which is ‘a master of disguise and can mysteriously disappear as soon as it lands, perfectly camouflaged’. Hence the title seems to, esoterically, suggest the pairing of the ‘mistress of disguise’ (Fiona) with ‘the owl’ (Mickleman) and which working together will enable sinister deeds to be done, most possibly by Mickleman (under the guidance of Fiona) influencing or recruiting people from within his natural academic environment.”
{/quote}

Thus, the following paean to Sapphic love, from Breaking The Silence Down, the novel often considered as making the Deofel ‘quartet’ into a quintet of esoteric novels:

{quote}
                  “Blissful, they returned to their home. The rain ceased with their arrival and in the subdued light in the now cramped sitting room of their bungalow, Rachael sat at her piano to transform herself and the night. Diane listened and watched, entranced. Rachael’s playing created a new world and a new woman, and Diane watched this strange woman create from the instrument of wood, steel and tone a universe of beauty, ecstasy and light.
                  Bach, Beethoven – it made no difference what or for how long she played. But, as it always had since that night, Beethoven’s Opus 111 fascinated her with feelings, visions, and stupendous, world-creating thought. It imbued her with insight, and a love that wanted to envelope Rachael and consume her.
                  It was pleasure and pain to watch Rachael transform herself through the act of her playing into a goddess she would die for. No reason touched her while she listened. There was, she knew, no greater life than this, no greater feeling and she wanted to immolate herself with Rachael’s ecstasy, immolate world upon world with this glory and passion which no male god described.
                  Then the silence, while clamoured notes faded and dimmed light framed. There were no more tears Diane could cry and she waited while Rachael slowly rose and offered her hand. She – the goddess within – was smiling and Diane allowed herself to be led. The music in her head, the memories and secret dreams of youth: all were before her, embodied in flesh and she had only to kiss the slightly scented lips or see the secret wisdom hidden in the eyes to reach the summit of her life, slowly, in the dim corners of the bedroom’s reflected dark.”
{/quote}

Given that most O9A critics have never bothered to read the O9A “deofel quintet” – or, if they have, have miserably failed to appreciate its esoteric significance – it is not surprising that they have such a biased, mundane, view of the O9A.
